WHAT IS THE MASS SCHEDULE?
Saturday Evening Vigil Mass: 4 p.m.
Sunday: 8:30 a.m. & 11 a.m.
Daily Mass (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday): 8 a.m.
WHEN CAN I GO TO CONFESSION?
Saturday: 3:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Monday: 7:45 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. (September – May)

I AM NEW TO THE AREA. HOW DO I REGISTER AS A PARISHIONER AT OUR LADY’S CHURCH?
Welcome! You will need to complete a registration form and return it to the Parish Office. To download the registration form click here. You may also obtain the form by visiting our parish office any weekday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. or send a request via email to ourladyschurch@md.metrocast.net. You can also call (301) 475-8403 and ask to have a form mailed to you. Once you have completed the form, drop it in the mail to:

I WANT TO HAVE A MASS SAID FOR A DECEASED FAMILY MEMBER OR A SPECIAL INTENTION. HOW DO I GO ABOUT DOING THIS?
If you would like to have a family member or friend remembered at Mass and obtain a Mass card to send to the person or his or her family, you can pick up an envelope at Mass. Envelopes are available on the wall at each entrance of the church. You can fill out the envelope and give it to Father Young after Mass, mail it to the Parish Office or drop it off at the Parish Office. The Parish Office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. You may also call the Parish Office at (301) 475-8403 or send an email to ourladyschurch@md.metrocast.net to make arrangements to have a Mass said. Although there is no “fee” for this, the customary offering is $10. Generally Masses are booked about 2-4 weeks ahead for the weekday Masses and 8 weeks ahead for weekend Sunday Masses.
SOMEONE IN MY FAMILY IS IN A NURSING HOME OR IS ILL AND CANNOT COME TO MASS. HOW DO I ARRANGE FOR HOLY COMMUNION TO BE BROUGHT TO THEM ON A REGULAR BASIS?
If you have family members or friends who are unable to attend Mass because of illness, injury, etc., please call the Parish Office at (301) 475-8403 so we can make arrangements to have someone bring them Holy Communion.
SOMEONE IN MY FAMILY IS SERIOUSLY ILL. HOW DO I GO ABOUT OBTAINING THE SACRAMENT OF THE ANOINTING OF THE SICK FOR THEM?
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is for the spiritual comfort, strength and healing of the ill. Any Catholic who is facing serious illness, is entering the hospital, and/or is of advanced years may receive this Sacrament. Persons may receive it more than once. This Sacrament is no longer only for those who may be near death, but in those cases where death may be imminent. Please contact Fr. Young to arrange for this Sacrament in one of the following ways:

I WANT TO GET MARRIED AT OUR LADY’S CHURCH. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
Couples seeking to be married in the Church are to make arrangements with Fr. Young at least six months in advance of their desired wedding date. This should be done prior to any other reception or invitation arrangements. One of the individuals must be a registered parishioner at Our Lady’s Church. Please call Fr. Young at the Parish Office at (301) 475-8403.
HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILDREN FOR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES?

I WANT TO HAVE MY CHILD RECEIVE FIRST HOLY COMMUNION OR BE CONFIRMED. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO HAVE MY INFANT BAPTIZED?
To have your child (7 years old or younger) baptized you need to call Fr. Young at (301) 475-8403. You will also need to fill out a Baptism Preparation Form. To download the Baptismal Preparation Form click here. You may also have a form mailed to you. You can reach the Parish Office at (301) 475-8403.
There must be at least one practicing Catholic Godparent. In order to be considered a practicing Catholic a Godparent must:
• Be sixteen (16) years of age or older;
• Be a Catholic who has received the Sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation;
• Participate in the Celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass weekly;
• Live a life in harmony with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and the Gospel (this includes a valid marriage recognized by the Roman Catholic Church);
• Not be the parent of the candidate for Baptism.
If a Godparent is from another Parish, you will need to provide a written statement from their Pastor which says that they are suitable to be Godparents.
